1. What are the characteristics of the false teachers Paul warns against in verses 17-19? What is PaulÕs approach to them? Compare these false teachers with those whom Paul commends in verses 1-16.

 

2. Explain verse 19 in your own words.

 

3. How are Christians ÔestablishedÕ (verse 25)? What does that mean for us in practice?

 

4. What is the ÒmysteryÓ (verse 25) and how has it been made known by the prophetic writings (verse 26)? (Hint: Romans 1:1-6, 3:21, and 15:9-12).
